Caberg Helmets take their knowledge and design expertise to the Caberg Horus X, another fantastic flip front helmet with versatility as wide as the visor.

Constructed in a Hi-Impact ABS thermoplastic outer, the Caberg Horus X features sharp lines for an aggressive appearance and aerodynamics, effectively channelling the air across and around the helmet, maximising stability when riding and reducing noise when riding, whether you’re commuting to work or touring the country. The inclusion of large chin vents and crown ventilation area maximise the air that is channelled in the helmet when riding, while built in channels within the EPS lining of the helmet help to direct this cool air within the helmet, keeping you cool even when riding in warmer climates. A rear extraction vent allows warm, stale air to efficiently exit the helmet, ensuring you don’t overheat even when riding with the intake vents closed. For additional comfort when riding in warmer weather, this flip front helmet from Caberg is easily opened with a red button found at the most prominent point of the chin for easy location. With the inclusion of a locking mechanism on this flip front helmet, you can lock the helmet in an open position, making this Caberg helmet dual homologated for riding as both a full-face helmet or an open face helmet.

For this modular helmet, Caberg are using the same large aperture panoramic visor found on the Caberg Levo helmet; this anti-scratch visor offers a massive 82° vertical field of view. The enlarged field of view in this flip front helmet minimises the amount of head movements needed when riding, letting you effectively check the dashboard or your GPS system, without having to lose sight of the road ahead. The visor on this modular helmet is PinLock ready and includes a PinLock Max Vision insert as standard, helping you win the fight against visor fogging and leaving you with a clear view of the road. A retractable sun visor found within the Caberg Horus X helmet is easily operated via a slider at the left of the helmet and is a blessing when riding in bright sun, not just for comfort and convenience, but for your safety too.

The inner linings within this flip front helmet are soft to the touch, comfortable against the skin and make for a pleasant environment for your head to spend the day in, whether it’s a local commute or a long distance trip. These linings are full removable and washable, allowing you to prolong the fresh helmet feeling. Two Wheel Centre recommends washing the linings by hand and leaving to dry naturally. The inner linings feature a glasses groove for easy fit of your glasses, a welcomed feature for the spectacled riders among us. Additionally, this flip front helmet features pockets ready to accommodate the speakers of an intercom system such as the Caberg Just Speak Bluetooth intercom system or similar Bluetooth intercom systems by reputable intercom manufacturers.

Finally, the Caberg Horus X helmet closes with a micro-ratchet fastening, which is easy to operate, even if you’re wearing thicker gloves in the winter.
