The Duchinni Phantom trousers use a 600 Denier polyester outer construction to provide a familiar, flexible outer for many miles of comfortable riding. This outer material is also incredibly abrasion resistant, offering complete protection from the intense friction that one would expect to experience in an accident scenario. Additional abrasion resistance comes in the form of a Ballistic textile material overlay found at the hips and knees. This Ballistic material offers incredible strength at areas which are typically subjected to severe friction if the worst occurs, offering even greater protection.

Further protection comes in the form of removable CE approved armour, which is designed to effectively dissipate impact energy away from key areas. You can find CE approved armour at the hips and knees as standard on the Duchinni Phantom trousers. With this level of protection on offer, it’s little wonder that these textile motorcycle trousers have attained their CE certification rating. Passive protection comes in the form of reflective detailing and piping, designed to provide additional visibility when riding after dark or in poor weather conditions.

Beneath the trousers lies a waterproof and windproof membrane fixed into the Duchinni Phantom trouser. This membrane helps you battle elements should you find yourself caught out in the worst of the weather, as well as fighting the effects of windchill, helping retain the warmth in the winter months. The membrane is also breathable, letting water vapour (sweat) escape from within the jacket, helping you stay fresh and ready for when you arrive at your destination.

Also included with the Duchinni Phantom textile trouser is a 120 gram Thermomix thermal membrane, offering an additional layer of insulation when riding in cooler climates, letting you use the trousers in all seasons without issue. This thermal lining is removable, leaving you with a lightweight summer motorcycle trouser. The lining can be rolled up small and stowed away in a pannier or rucksack and easily attached should the situation call for it.

Comfort comes in the form of accordion stretch panelling found at the knees, waist and rear of the Duchinni Phantom trousers. This simple stretch system allows for a free range of movement in these areas, offering greater comfort when riding as well as when walking around at your chosen destination. The waist also features an adjustable Velcro belt, allowing the rider to tailor the fit of their new textile motorcycle trousers to suit their body shape. The rear of the waist has been elevated in length too, helping provide additional abrasion resistance and weather protection, a blessing for the all-weather bikers.

Additional adjustable points include an inside lower leg expander zip, which can open wide enough to accommodate a great many motorcycle boots being worn beneath them.
