The CL-XY 2 helmet is an ideal first helmet for young riders, whether they’re joining you on their first quad ride or competing on the junior MX scene. Updated and improved to include extensive ventilation, this protective and comfortable off road helmet will help your children nurture a love of biking that could last a lifetime.

Constructed using advanced CAD technology for an accurate fit, the outer shell of the CL-XY 2 is made of a tough but lightweight polycarbonate composite. With a wide eye port, your child’s vision is maximised so they can see what’s going on around them. The helmet is also designed for easy and secure goggle fit and includes a glasses groove for children who wear spectacles.

The ventilation system on the CL-XY 2 has been updated from its predecessor, now featuring a large number of strategically placed intake and exhaust vents to the front and rear. Special ACS ventilation channels are cut into the EPS liner which flush warm air up and out of the helmet, keeping the air inside the helmet fresh and increasing rider comfort.

Adding to the CL-XY 2’s comfort focus is a plush and contoured Nylex® lined interior. The Nylex® fabric is soft and hygienic, with moisture-wicking properties to draw sweat away from the skin. The cheek and crown pads are easy to snap in and out, allowing you to wash and dry them when they get dirty or wet (we recommend hand washing and air drying these pads).

Two shell sizes, covering three helmet sizes, ensure the best fit for your child’s head. This means not only comfortable and secure wear, but greater safety if the child comes off the bike. D-ring retention provides reliable closure for your peace of mind, staying secure no matter how bumpy the ride.
