This classic styled wax jacket from Oxford is a short wax cotton jacket designed for motorcycle riding. The 70% waxed cotton and 30% polyester construction of the jacket makes for a highly abrasion resistant outer material while also contributing to the vintage aesthetic of the jacket.

Throughout the interior of the jacket is a fixed micro-mesh lining, which combined with the dual zip open ventilation points found at the front of the jacket, allow for a direct cool air flow into the jacket and areas between your base layers and the jackets outer layer where this cool air can circulate. This cool air will keep you and your base layers feeling fresh no matter how long you ride for.

The waterproof, breathable Reissa membrane coupled with the storm flap which covers the central zipper, aim to minimise water entry into the jacket. The breathability of the Reissa membrane allows water vapour to escape from within the jacket, ensuring you remain cool while you ride.

The Hardy wax jacket features many pockets for storing items that you may need when out on the road. Interior pockets, two hand warmer pockets and two chest pockets allow you to store essential items such as mobile phone, wallet and other items. The hand warmer pockets close with a durable, hardwearing YKK zipper to match the central zipper and the zip open ventilation points.

The popper secured cuffs and collar not only make for a secure closure system that won’t work its way undone when out on a ride but also add to the retro aesthetic of this wax motorbike jacket. With the Hardy wax jacket, CE approved elbow and shoulder armour are included as standard, with a back protector pocket to add a CE approved back protector if you choose to. The jacket also features an 8-inch connection zipper at the rear of the jacket for zipping into any compatible Oxford trousers. This not only limits heat loss when riding in cooler weathers but also limits the exposure of the bottom of your back should you find yourself sliding across the tarmac at speed.
