The RST City Textile Trouser is created in a hardwearing MaxTex outer fabric, an incredibly abrasion resistant material designed to withstand the intense friction that is likely to be experienced in an accident scenario. The trouser is made stronger still with the use of a corespun polyester thread to help minimise the chances of a seam failure when subjected to a slide across tarmac. CE Level 1 armour at the knees and hips offer protection against impact at these areas and help to contribute to the RST City Trousers’ CE approval rating to double A standard.

The full-length zipper that begins at the waist and finishes at the lower ankle allows the wearer to easily exit the trouser when required. These zippers feature at both sides of the trouser and use a hardwearing zipper for ease of use and longevity at this area for many comfortable commuting days. Rather than have to disappear to a changing room, to change into and out of your biking trouser and into your work jeans, simply zip the RST City over the top and you’re good to go.

This textile commuter trouser features a fixed quick drying mesh for complete comfort over longer rides home, along with a fixed SinAqua waterproof and breathable membrane to help protect you from the elements. This breathable waterproof membrane is microporous, meaning that the small porous holes are small enough in size to not let water molecules pass through, but large enough water vapour (sweat) to escape from within the trouser, leaving you fresh and dry when you arrive at work. If you require some additional warmth in the winter, the City Plus version of these textile commuter biker trousers also features a removable 125g hollowfill thermal liner to provide extra insulation for those chilly winter morning commutes.

Two outer pockets provide some space for storing your essentials when out on the road, and feature a zipped closure to keep your belongings safe. Waist adjustment belt allow the wearer to tailor the fit of the RST City Trousers to suit their body shape, while the inclusion of Reflex reflective detailing offers additional protection by maximising your visibility, ideal for those early morning wet weather commutes.
