Ready for the rally! Designed for serious off-road rally riders with feedback from Dakar Rally legend Mick Extance, the RST Adventure X-Treme is the ideal jacket for the rally rider in you.
The jacket takes heavy design inspiration from the RST Adventure-X Jackets which suit so many disciplines of riding. As such, the same MaxTex outer construction is seen here with a ballistic overlay at key areas to help further the abrasion resistant properties of this rally jacket.
Most rally riders wear an exoskeleton style armour vest when riding and as such, they donβt require a jacket which has armour fitted to this. This jacket is certified as CE approved to B standard, which means that the jacket carries no armour as standard but does feature the pockets within to house a CE approved back protector, CE approved chest armour, CE approved shoulder armour and CE approved elbow armour.
Since the RST Adventure X-Treme Jacket is designed to be used in much warmer climates, the jacket features no waterproof or thermal linings to help reduce the weight of the garment and the rider fatigue that can accompany such a high specification jacket. Within the jacket lies a fixed quick drying comfort mesh, designed to help circulate air as well as keeping your skin separated from the outer material.
Thanks to the absence of the waterproof and thermal linings, you can make the most of the ventilation areas within the jacket. Large chest ventilation areas offer a huge amount of airflow, with additional ventilation areas at the sleeves helps to flow cool air directly into the jacket even when riding in the warmest of climates. As most enduro riders will have an external hydro-pack for their hydration needs, the RST Adventure X-Treme Jacket instead has a very large rear exhaust ventilation area, helping the warm stale air to efficiently exit the jacket when riding.
As a way to flow additional air into the jacket, the RST Adventure Extreme Jacket features an innovative zipper system to help keep you cool. The full-length zipper can be closed completely and the zipper head closed away with a Velcro tab. A similar system can be seen lower down the zipped area; this is designed to let you unzip the jacket at the collar and unzip it a small amount without fear of the jacket becoming unzipped while riding, helping to flow more air into the chest area.
Accordion stretch panelling helps provide a complete range of movement, ensuring that you arenβt restricted by the heavy-duty outer material when riding. This enduro and rally jacket also features two large box pockets, one of which is designed to store your medical supplies when riding as determined by the new rules of the Dakar Rally.
Available in four colours. Black is available as standard, however manufacturer colours require special order. Please contact us for an accurate availability date.
