The RST Commander Jacket is constructed from a specially designed LX3 fabric with a SinAqua Pro waterproof membrane laminated and bonded to the outer, ensuring water does not enter the jacket, even when riding in the worst of the weather. The SinAqua Pro membrane is capable of withstanding 15,000mm of water, making it perfect for your wet weather riding.

Keeping you safe from within, the RST Commander Jacket features a full CE Approved armour set. A CE Level 2 back protector, CE Level 2 shoulder armour and CE Level 2 elbow armour offer the very best in protection at these areas. Fitted to dedicated pockets, this armour effectively dissipates impact energy away from these areas in the event of an accident while the addition of the Ballistic textile overlay at outer of the jacket offers additional abrasion resistance at key areas. With the amount of abrasion and impact protection on offer here, it’s easy to see why the RST Commander Jacket has achieved the AA standard at CE testing.

Keeping you comfortable in this laminated motorcycle jacket is a fixed mesh comfort lining, maximising comfort while riding and ensuring that you can put on and take off the jacket with ease. Within the jacket is a removable 150g hollowfill thermal liner; this quilted thermal lining offers an additional layer of insulation when riding in cooler weather. This lining can be removed easily, reducing the weight of the jacket as well as leaving you with a lightweight laminated motorcycle jacket that is ideal for summer riding.

With the thermal linings removed, you’re free to make the most of the RST Commander Jacket’s many ventilation openings. Twin vents at the front and twin vents at the rear allow direct cool air flow into the jacket while riding as well as letting warmer stale air exit the jacket efficiently. These ventilation areas are backed with RST’s K540 mesh, which flows up to four times more air than other mesh materials. The front ventilation areas are hidden underneath the large textile wings, that are held out of the way with a strong magnet to allow the air to travel up your body and into the ventilation intake openings. All ventilation points feature waterproof rubberised zips to ensure that no water can seep through and into the jacket when riding in the worst of the weather.

You’ll find a 360° connection zipper at the waist of the jacket, allowing you seamlessly zip into any compatible RST trouser with a compatible zipper. Reflex reflective detailing maximises your chances of being seen when riding in conditions when visibility is reduced such as night rides or when riding in wet weather. Adjustment comes in the form of endless strap adjustment at the waist and Velcro adjustment belts arms, which allow the rider to adjust the fitment of the jacket to suit their shape. Beneath the waist straps lie two waterproof box pockets, ideal for storing your essentials when on the go, as well and internal storage space within the jacket too.

Behind the box pockets at the outer are two zipped handwarmer pockets, which are thermally lined to help bring the heat back to your hands after a cold weather stint in the saddle. At the lower back of the Commander Jacket lies a map pocket, designed to house maps and other important documents to minimise folding and crinkling these important papers. This map pocket is backed with the same SinAqua Pro waterproof membrane and sealed with a rubberised zipper to lock out the water.
