The RST Commander trouser is constructed from a specially designed LX3 fabric and Ballistic textile overlay with a SinAqua Pro waterproof membrane laminated and bonded to the outer, ensuring water does not enter these motorcycle trousers, even when riding in the worst of the weather. The SinAqua Pro membrane is capable of withstanding 15,000mm of water, making it perfect for your wet weather riding. Any stitching on the trouser (which is double or triple stitched for durability) is finished with taped seams, locking out water from within and making the RST Commander Laminated Trousers one of the most waterproof textile motorcycle trousers on the market.

Beneath the outer material lie dedicated armour pockets; as this is a part of the RST Pro Series range, the RST Commander Trousers feature CE Level 2 armour at the hips and the knees as standard. Passive protection comes in the form of the reflective detailing found around the trouser, furthering the protective properties of the trouser by improving your visibility when riding in wet weather or at night.

Keeping you comfortable in this laminated motorcycle trouser is a fixed mesh comfort lining, maximising comfort while riding and ensuring that you can easily put on and take off the trouser with ease. Within the trouser is a removable hollowfill thermal liner; this 100g quilted thermal lining offers an additional layer of insulation when riding in cooler weather. This quilted lining can be removed easily, reducing the weight of the jeans as well as leaving you with a lightweight laminated motorcycle trouser that is ideal for the summer riding. Twin vents legs allow direct cool air flow into the trouser while riding, and zip closed with the same rubberised tape sealed zippers that are found on the jacket, maximising the waterproofing and ensuring that you don’t scratch your bike with the zippers.

You’ll find a 360° connection zipper at the waist of the jean, allowing you to seamlessly zip into any RST jacket with a compatible zipper. This not only minimises wind entering in through the rear of the jacket when you’re trying to keep warm but also minimises the risk of the small of your back becoming exposed in the event of a slide across the tarmac. A large lower leg expansion area has been made intentionally larger on the RST Commander Trouser to help accommodate a wider range of boots. From traditional touring style boots to larger length adventure and motocross style boots, the RST Commander works well with them all. This expansion area closes with a reliable zipper closure, with a Velcro tab to secure the zip head and keep some of the dirt, dust or debris away from the zip.

Comfort is furthered on this laminated motorcycle trouser with the inclusion of accordion stretch panelling found at the upper knee and lower back of the trouser, ensuring that your range of movement is not sacrificed by the outer materials. The addition of a seat gripper pad works well to maximise your grip on the seat when riding in wet weather, increasing your confidence when riding.
