Ideal for the summer riders! The RST Shortie is, as the name suggests, a short cuff leather motorcycle glove with sports styling. Offering plenty of protection and comfort, the RST Shortie is definitely worth your consideration for your new summer motorcycle glove.

The outer material is a traditional cowhide leather construction, which is naturally abrasion resistant by its very nature and is easily able to withstand the intense friction that can be experienced in a slide across tarmac. This cowhide leather is dual layered, extending from the side of the hand to the lower palm, areas which typically experience the most abrasion in accident scenarios.

You’ll also find an amara overlay at the palm which helps to prevent natural wear and tear at an area which is in constant contact with the bike. This amara overlay also features silicon detailing which provides additional grip at the handlebars and helps further the sporty styling.

Accordion stretch panelling at the fingers and thumb allow for maximum movement when using the control levers, ensuring that your natural range of movement isn’t restricted by the leather outer material. The fingers are also pre-curved, meaning that you don’t have to fight the leather material. This minimises fatigue at the hands for many miles of comfortable riding. Further comfort comes in the form of perforated panel ventilation to help warm air efficiently exit the glove when riding, helping to cool your hands when out on the road.

As a neat feature for touring riders, the RST Shortie Glove also features a smart leather material at the index feature, which allows you to operate the touch screen on your GPS system without removing the gloves.

You’ll also find plenty of exterior protection on the RST Shortie Glove to help reduce the effects of impacts if the worst should occur. A hybrid TPU and carbon outer knuckle protection point helps to protect the bank of the hand, while soft density padding at the fingers and lower palm help to cushion against the impacts at these key areas.

These RST Leather Gloves feature an elasticated wrist for a comfortable tailored fit at the wrist with a Velcro closure at the wrist to ensure that the gloves remain in the right place, even when subjected to heavy abrasion.
