Sidi presents the Sidi Performer ladies boot, an entry-level boots aimed at lady riders who want to feel the benefits of Sidi boots without breaking the bank.

Rather than construct a boot from traditional leather, Sidi have opted to construct the Performer boot from TechnoMicro, which has plenty of benefits for motorcycle riders. TechnoMicro is a microfibre material with fibres less than one thousandth of the thickness of silk. These fibres are bonded tightly to create a flexible and sturdy alternative to leather with the advantages so being a lighter weight than its leather counterparts are. The Microfibre material is also water-repellent, breathable and allows for the escape of water vapour from inside, ensuring that your feet stay fresh all day.

When constructing their boots, Sidi work with orthopaedic surgeons to understand the injuries that can occur in an accident on the road and offer protection to provide some defence against the road. Protection in the Performer boot comes in the form of shin, toe, ankle and metatarsus protection to minimise damage should the worst occur. Further protection against wear and tear comes in the form of the gearshift pads to protect from the wear that can occur at the upper toe from continuously changing gear.

The Performer boots are lined with a Teflon mesh and Cambrelle material at the toe, making for a boot with superior comfort. The liner is made up of hundreds of tiny air pockets, which allow the air inside the boot to circulate freely around the foot. It is also an excellent wicking material, which draws moisture away from the foot and out through the breathable TechnoMicro upper. Further ventilation comes in the form of exhausts vents located at the rear of the boot to aid in the escaping of air through the rear of the boot, keeping the inside of the Performer boot cool throughout your ride.
