Hardwearing, feature packed and with a waterproof membrane, the Spada Ascent Jacket is ready for anything, whether riding over longer distances or short commutes. A high density textile outer construction on this textile motorcycle jacket makes for a robust, abrasion resistant outer while retaining the lightweight nature of the jacket, an essential feature when choosing a touring motorcycle jacket. Increasing the abrasion resistant properties of the Ascent jacket is an additional layer of ballistic textile material at the shoulders and arms of the jacket, increasing the resistance to friction at an area that typically experiences intense abrasion in a slide.

To help protect your body from impacts, the Spada Ascent 2.0 Textile Jacket features a five-piece CE approved armour set. Spada’s Tektoform CE approved armour can be found at the back, shoulders, and elbows as standard and is fitted to dedicated armour pockets within the jacket. This armour is removable, should you choose to remove it.

Keeping you protected from the elements is a waterproof membrane. This fixed waterproof membrane minimises water entry into the jacket, keeping your base layers dry even if you find yourself riding in the worst of the weather. This waterproof membrane is breathable too, allowing water vapour (sweat) to escape from within the jacket, keeping you fresh inside your jacket when you reach your destination.

Providing additional insulation when riding in cooler weather, the Spada Ascent textile jacket features a polyester thermal lining which can be removed quickly and easily, leaving you with a lightweight vented summer motorcycle jacket. The thermal lining rolls up to a small size and can be easily fitted into a rucksack or in your panniers and can be reattached quickly when required.

Ventilation is important in touring motorcycle jackets and as such the Spada Ascent V2 jacket features a Ventech cooling system, allowing cool air flow into the jacket, along with a bidirectional zipper at the lower arm, which opens up a large ventilation panel for even greater airflow into the jacket when needed. These ventilation areas close with waterproof taped zippers, locking out the moisture from entering in at these areas.

Large roll top box pockets found at the upper chest and lower chest of this textile touring jacket provide plenty of storage space for your items that you may need access to when out on the road. There are also internal pockets too for keeping valuable such as your mobile phone and wallet secure while riding.

Adjustment points around the jacket allow you to tailor the Spada Ascent 2.0 jacket to your body shape. These adjustments can be found at the waist and upper arm in the form of a Velcro belt system while the lower arm can be adjusted with a press stud popper system. These adjustments reduce the billowing effect that can occur when traveling at speed and improved the comfort of the jacket.

Additionally, further comfort can be found in the form of a soft feel neoprene comfort collar, a welcome addition to this jacket and a blessing when covering longer distances where other materials could cause irritation. Reflective elements throughout the jacket help improve visibility when riding in conditions where visibility is significantly reduced.
