Completely CE and CA UK certified, the Taylor Tour jacket is created in a 600D polyester outer material for a high strength yet comfortable outer construction. This material is double stitched throughout at the seams, offering increased strength and abrasion resistance should the worst occur. Beneath the surface the protection continues with a full five piece armour set with CE level 2 armour at the elbows and shoulders and a CE level 1 back protector, helping limit impact energy transferral at these areas in the event of an off.

Passive protection comes in the form of reflective detailing found at both the front and rear of the jacket, designed to improve your visibility when riding at night or in poor weather conditions. Visibility is further improved thanks to the use of contrast stitched detailing and fluorescent highlighting throughout the jacket, including the accordion stretch flexibility panels at the elbows which offer greater movement both on and off the bike.

Keeping you safe from the wet weather, this textile touring motorcycle jacket features a breathable waterproof membrane designed to eliminate any chance of water reaching your base layers. This waterproof membrane is also breathable, designed to let water vapour (sweat) efficiently escape from within the jacket, keeping you fresh and dry from the inside too. This waterproofing extends to the storage pockets on the Spada Taylor Tour jacket, ensuring that your essentials remain dry on the road. Furthering the waterproofing capabilities, a large storm flap and rain channel cover the central zipper closure and guaranteeing no water can permeate past the central zipper and damp in your base layers.

An additional layer of insulation is found within the Taylor Tour textile motorcycle jacket. A quilted thermal lining helps lock in the warmth when you need it most, a welcomed feature for the all-weather bikers. This thermal lining is easily removed, making for a lightweight summer waterproof touring jacket. A mesh interior comfort lining runs throughout this textile motorcycle jacket, furthering the comfort when riding in particularly warm weather and eliminating the sticky, clingy feeling that we all know and hate.

The inclusion of the air vent cooling system allows for direct cool air flow into the jacket when riding, perfect for summer riding. This ventilation system can be easily accessed with two upper chest zips and two rear exhaust vents, all closed by a simple zip puller for easy and efficient ventilation on the go.

Adjustment points at the upper arms and waist belt ensure that the Spada Taylor Tour jacket is the perfect fit each and every time. These adjustment points allow for accommodation of additional layers beneath the jacket or to take up the available space with the thermal lining removed. A Velcro cuff adjustment allows for gloves to either sit comfortably under the cuff or above. A neoprene comfort collar is a welcome feature for the long distance riders, providing a soft material at the neck in an area which may become irritated with substandard materials.
